Our next Bard Math Circle session is this Saturday, December 20, 1-3pm at the Kingston Library. We have lots to share: a sheet of challenging math problems, math games & logic puzzles, and a wooden calendar puzzle that you solve, create, and take home! We plan our library programs with 5th to 8th graders in mind, but all ages are welcome.

AMC 10/12 & Purple Comet
Last month we offered the challenging middle school AMC 8 Math Contest. We are now making plans to offer the high school level AMC 10/12 exams in February, as well as the Purple Comet Contest in April. If you've expressed interest in math contests, we'll be in touch with more information.
Looking Back on 2014
This was an exciting year for the Bard Math Circle! We challenged, excited and inspired middle school students in our Library math enrichment programs, expanded our competition program to include the AMC 8, AMC 10 and the Purple Comet contest, and ran our first ever Summer Math C.A.M.P. for middle school students. Our programming is either free (Library Programs and Competitions) or provided at a low cost (C.A.M.P.).
