March starts soon, and a mathematical highlight is Pi Day on March 14. Please join us for several Pi Day related events, starting this Saturday, March 2.
Event: Family Math Afternoon featuring Pi
Date: Saturday, March 2, 2024
Time: 2pm to 4pm
Location: Kingston Library, 61 Crown Street, Kingston NY 12401
Audience: Middle school students and their families
Join us from 2pm to 4pm for math puzzles, logic games, a hands-on math activity and some engaging math problems.

Event: Pi Day's Eve
Date: Wednesday, March 13, 2024
Time: 5pm to 6pm
Location: George Washington Elementary School, Kingston NY 12401
Audience: GW students and their families
Join us from 5pm to 6pm for a family Pi Day celebration on the eve of Pi Day. This event is sponsored by the George Washington School PTO and is for GW students and their families.
Event: Pi Day at SUNY New Paltz
Date: Thursday, March 14, 2024
Time: 5pm to 7pm
Location: Old Main Building, rooms 130, 131, 234, 235 & 236
Audience: For all elementary and middle school students and their families
Join SUNY New Paltz students and Faculty for their Pi Day event. Build Skyscrapers! Make pi day bracelets and rings! Play the Race to Pi game and much more!!!

Family Math Afternoons
Each month we offer a great environment for middle school and elementary school aged children to explore math with their family. We have puzzles and games, outside-the-box math problems, and a math artifact to make and take home.
No registration needed, just come on by!

Middle School Math Academy
We are starting a more sustained program for middle school math enthusiasts this spring. This will be a an exploration and problem-solving driven experience for middle-school age students, led by undergraduate Bard Math Majors. The program will run on Saturday afternoons.
