We welcome you to an engaging Family Math Afternoon for middle school students and their families. Solve Math Problems – Explore Logic Puzzles – Play Thinking Games. Our hands-on math project for December is the wooden block calendar. The mathematical fun will be infinite! No registration is needed, so come right on upstairs to the Community Room!

The AMC 8 Contest
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. The AMC 8 provides an opportunity for middle school students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers. Students apply classroom skills to unique problem-solving challenges in a low-stress and friendly environment.

Note: In case of inclement weather, we will administer the contest on Sunday, January 22, 2023
Time: 10:30am - 12:00pm (the welcome table opens at 10:00am)
