Family Math Afternoons
Our first in-person event since March 2020! In mid-November we welcomed families to enjoy math challenges together, and we will hold more Family Math events in the Spring.
Welcoming BEAM Entry Points to Kingston
The Bard Math Circle is so excited to partner with Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics (BEAM) and the Kingston Central School District and bring this new national initiative to Kingston. Entry Points provides access to advanced mathematics to students from low-income and historically marginalized communities nationwide. It is a rigorous and fun math enrichment program developed by BEAM for elementary students who are ready for more challenge in math.
CAMP - The Creative and Analytical Math Program
Our popular one-week academic enrichment program ran in August 2021. Remote for the second summer, we are planning to return to an in-person format in summer 2022. Please stay tuned for more information!
Math Contests
We can't welcome students to campus this year because of COVID restrictions, so it's an online year for contests. The AMC 10/12 contests ran earlier this month, the AMC 8 contest runs in January, and the team-based Purple Comet and Girls' Adventures in Math (GAIM) contests are set for April. Come problem solve with us!
Online Math Tutor Network
Our Online Math Tutor Network has grown to become our biggest program currently. We provided almost 500 hours of online math tutoring last year, and we're set to double that this year, nearing 1,500 hours total. Request one of our math (or physics or CS) tutors for cost-effective online tutoring for K–12 students.
