As we move further into spring, we are hosting the Purple Comet contest, our last for the season. Sign up below, and consider hiring one of our undergraduate math majors to help your team prepare.

       Bard Math Circle
The Purple Comet! Math Meet is a free, annual, international, online, team, mathematics competition designed for middle and high school students that has been held every year since 2003.
Teams of from one to six students compete by submitting solutions to a list of mathematics problems. There is a ten-day window - Tuesday, April 6th 2021 to Thursday, April 15th 2021 - during which teams may compete choosing a start time most convenient for them. The problems range in difficulty from really hard to extremely challenging, and there are both middle school and high school contests.

If you are ready for some very challenging math problems, we would like to point you to the Upstate New York Math Team, which is currently preparing high school students for the NYSML and ARML contests.
CAMP Update
Our Creative and Analytical Math Program, for students currently in grades 5–8, will run online, August 2–6, 2021. The application process will open in early April.
