What: The Online AMC 10/12B Contest
Date: Wednesday, February 10, 2021 (one day window)
Time: A specific time can be requested by the student.
Location: via AoPS Online
Practice Sessions: Join us for 3 practice sessions, led by Bard College undergraduates. Tentatively Saturdays, 1/23, 1/30 and 2/6, time TBA. Our focus will be mainly on beginning and intermediate participants for the AMC 10 contest. After the contest we'll have a problem review on Sunday, 2/14.
Description: The AMC 10/12 contests are 25-question, 75-minute multiple-choice exams in high school mathematics. Preparing for the AMC 10/12 helps develop students’ problem-solving skills and interest in mathematics.
Proctoring: Proctoring for the online AMC 10/12B Contests will be conducted by an in-person parent, guardian, or other supervising adult. Be sure that you have a proctor willing to be present for the whole contest before you register.
For: The AMC 10 is for students in grade 10 or below and also under 17.5 years of age on the day of the competition. The AMC 12 is for students in grade 12 or below and also under 19.5 years of age on the day of the competition.
Price: Free for Bard Math Circle students and local residents. We are charging $20 for other students who register for the AMC 10/12B with the Bard Math Circle.
