Because of the global pandemic, the 2020 AMC 8 will run online. Students are able to compete in the comfort of their own home, proctored in-person by a parent or other responsible adult.
We hope you will also join us for an online AMC 8 preparation, led by Bard College undergraduate math majors.
The Bard Math Circle looks forward to welcoming you back to our bucolic campus at some time in the future when it is safe to do so. For the time being, we are completely online.

AMC 8 Contest Information
The AMC 8 is 40-minutes long and consists of 25 multiple choice questions in middle school mathematics. Preparing for the AMC 8 helps develop students’ problem-solving skills and interest in mathematics.
Date: Tuesday, November 10, 2020 (The full contest window is November 10–16.)
Time: A specific time can be requested by the student.
Location: via AoPS Online
For: Students in grades 6–8, younger students are welcome.
Price: Free for Bard Math Circle students and local residents. We are charging $20 for other students who register for the AMC 8 with the Bard Math Circle.
