We have a lot of exciting mathematical events planned for 2019 that we're excited to tell you about!
Math Circle Meetups
Come hang out with Bard undergraduates and other math enthusiasts to play games, solve puzzles, and work on some enriching problem solving.
Dates: Three Saturdays, February 2nd, March 2nd and April 27th
Time: 12:30–2:00 pm
Location: Tivoli Free Library, 86 Broadway, Tivoli, NY 12583.
For: Students, grades 5–9

Competitions
Contest: AMC 10/12 B
Dates: Wednesday, February 13th, 2019
Time: 4:00–7:00 pm
Location: Reem-Kayden Center, Bard College
For: High School Students and Advanced Middle School Students
The AMC 10 and AMC 12 are both 25-question, 75-minute, multiple choice examinations in high school mathematics designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills.

Contest: Purple Comet!
Dates: Saturday, April 6th, 2019
Time: 4:00–7:00 pm
Location: Reem-Kayden Center, Bard College
For: Middle School Students
Students will compete in teams of up to six students. The contest is 60 minutes long, with 20 questions at various levels of difficulty, all accessible to a middle school audience.

Dates: Saturday, April 27th, 2019
Time: 1:00–5:00 pm
Location: Reem-Kayden Center, Bard College
For: Girls, grades 3–8
Girls' Adventures in Math (GAIM) is a math competition in which students will compete in two rounds to solve fun and challenging math problems. The first round will be 60 minutes long and the second round will be 20 minutes long. Teams for this competition will be registered by your school.

Girls Math Club
The Girls Math Club is a mathematical enrichment opportunity for middle school girls in the Hudson Valley of upstate New York. The club meets once a month at Bard College on Sunday afternoons. Membership for the 2018-2019 school year is full, but registration to be a member of the club for the 2019-2020 school year will open next summer. CAMP
Bard Math Circle CAMP 2019 will be held from Monday, August 26th to Friday, August 30th.
