Bard Math Circle at the Kingston Library
Please join us this Saturday, 1-3pm, for our last Bard Math Circle event of the Spring. Bring a friend!
Math Circle
We're having our math circle over at the Kingston Library (directions). Join us from 1:00pm–3:00pm upstairs in the Community Room for an afternoon of puzzles and games, engaging math problems, and a hands on project, which this month is participation in the 5th Annual Kingston Library Chalk Walk.
The Chalk Walk is a free event, and runs 12:30pm-2:00pm, rain or shine. Their motto is "You bring the creativity, and we provide the chalk." We'll leave it to you for how to divide your time chalking up your favorite mathematical designs, and enjoying puzzles, games and math problems. We'll end our session as usual, with a half hour of sharing solutions to our challenging set of math problems.
Save the Date for our C.A.M.P.!
We will soon announce our 2nd annual C.A.M.P., to run August 24–28 at Bard College. The acronym C.A.M.P. stands for "Creative and Analytical Math Program", and is a math enrichment program for middle school students who love math, with priority for those entering grades 7 and 8 in the fall. If you want to be sure that you'll receive the program announcement, click on the "update subscription preferences" link at the bottom of this email and make sure that C.A.M.P. is selected.

See you at the Math Circle!
